A truly rare opportunity in the market to drive investment decisions at a portfolio level to ensure that the transformational IT portfolio remains in alignment with the wider corporate strategy. The primary purpose is to provide specialist expertise to develop high-level investment portfolio architecture for proposed ICT initiatives, to inform decision-making.
Your accountabilities shall include providing expert advice to, and implementing the ICT Investment planning framework which defines the process and documentation required to inform the ICT investment portfolio development. You will also be accountable developing high-level portfolio architecture for proposed initiatives ensuring alignment to ICT and wider corporate strategy.
Your knowledge and experience shall include:
- Substantial experience and demonstrated understanding of information system and architecture management approaches with the ability to formulate, implement and manage principles, standards, guidelines, systems and processes;
- Substantial experience and knowledge in the use and exploitation of architecture to achieve business strategy, especially the development of solution architecture to inform investment assessments;
- Thorough knowledge of business, application, information, security and technical architecture and their use in driving effective and efficient project and program outcomes;
- Significant knowledge of ICT planning, ICT investment planning and/or ICT Portfolio Management, and the role that solution architecture plays in investment decision-making; and
- Substantial experience in working within an outsourced ICT environment with vendors delivering to an outcome-based model.
