About the role:
Reporting to the General Manager of IT, the Applications Manager will be responsible for the support and development roadmap of Bingo Industries’ in-house developed business applications. The Applications Manager will manage the Software Development Team that is responsible for the applications environment at Bingo Industries, and will also manage third parties that aid in the development and support of Bingo’s in-house application suite. You will also ensure systems are developed in line with industry best practice and follow the standard principles of the Software Development Life Cycle
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, business administration or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Four (4) or more years in a similar role including managing a development team of more than four (4) direct reports
- Three (3) or more years as a Software Developer
- Working knowledge of programming languages (CFML,C, C#, .NET).
- Working knowledge of Database platforms (MS SQL, Firebird, AWS RDS, AWS Redshift)
- Working knowledge of AWS
- Exposure to Agile Methodologies
- Demonstrated strong business acumen, including industry, domain-specific knowledge of the enterprise and its business units
- Demonstrated familiarity with industry trends and innovation
- Demonstrated use of corporate level verbal and written communication skills
