One of our major Government clients is currently needing the services of an experienced Citrix Engineer on an initial 3 month contract to come on board and assist the delivery of a key Citrix migration project. 

Primarily, the role will be responsible for the successful delivery of a Citrix migration for the entire organisation, specifically moving them from XenApp and XenDesktop 6.5 up to 7.15.

The role will actively participate in the setup, delivery and post-implementation support for the project, and also provide any troubleshooting and support for users as needed.

Selection Criteria:

• Tertiary qualifications in IT or a related discipline
• Qualifications or training certificates related to Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop
• Expert level knowledge working with XenApp and XenDesktop within a large production environment
• Previous experience migrating/upgrading a XenApp and XenDesktop environment, preferably up to 7.15
• Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to be able to resolve problems/issues on the go
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to communicate effectively both senior staff and user groups
