PM-Partners are currently seeking a number of experienced Senior Business Analyst with proven experience working within the Financial Services space. We have multiple long term roles available that will be Process, Technology or Business focused. These roles are with one specific client based in the Sydney CBD. However, we have multiple Business Analyst roles available working for Financial Services companies based in the CBD.

Your day to day responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Identifying, evaluating and having a well-defined understanding of the high-level business needs of clients and stakeholders
  • Plan, run and facilitate workshops and elicit requirements using mixtures of workshops and one on one meetings 
  • Process Mapping, AS-IS/TO-BE
  • Analysing large amounts of data and identifying key trends and insights - utilising this to better improve the process
  • Analyse and document business requirements and write detailed business, stakeholder, functional and non-functional requirements
  • Use data modelling practices to analyse your findings and create usable solutions and suggestions for strategic and operational improvements and changes
  • Any specific Wealth Management or Advice experience - Highly desirable
  • Any specific Agile experience or certifications - Highly desirable

Requirements;

  • At least 5 years experience as a Business Analyst 
  • Strong Technology BA / project experience OR
  • Strong Business/Process BA experience
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and Access skills
  • Strong data experience or worked within a complex data environment
  • Experience with IT risk frameworks, terminology and standards
  • Previous experience as a Business Analyst working on complex Projects or Programs, preferably in a Banking/Finance environment
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills
  • Outstanding analytical, observation and organisational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
