An exciting opportunity awaits a responsible, articulate, mature and personable Senior Network Engineer. You will be joining an Australian leader in innovative, reliable and secure payments solutions for businesses of all shape and sizes.
You will be joining a small team taking technical responsibilities off the Network Manager and working as a 2IC. You will be walking the business through analysis, design, installation, configuration and maintenance of their network infrastructure and application components.
This role has variety and covers all aspects of making sure the computer network performance meets the company and users satisfaction.You will also provide direction, information, and recommendations regarding network configurations and installations.
Being a small to medium sized business this would suit someone coming from a similar environment rather than from a large consulting / corporate group.
Strong team player and mentoring skill, outstanding documentation skills, easy to approach, details oriented, “can-do” attitude, being self-initiative and autonomous
- Strong and proven record on Network Design (HLD/LLD) and Implementation
- Strong and proven hands on record on R&S. Not negotiable.
- Cisco Routers and Catalyst switches
- Cisco Nexus 7K, 5K, 2K
- Dynamic routing protocols (OSPF, BGP)
- CCDP or CCIE are a must
Strong skills at least on one of the below areas:
1-Security
- Cisco FirePower (highly desirable)
- Checkpoint
- Cisco ASA
- FireMon
2-Load Balancer
- F5 LTM/GTM
- F5 Viprion (highly desirable)
Having Australia local experience on a Senior Network Engineer (above or similar) role for at least two years with available reference.
Australia finance sector experience is highly desirable.
- Working experience on PCI DSS compliant organisation is highly desirable
- AWS/Cloud infrastructure experience is highly desirable.
- Network automation experience is highly desirable.
- Intermediate Linux experience and knowledge is desirable.
