WARDY IT Solutions Australia's leading Microsoft SQL Server specialists are currently recruiting for a SQL Server Consultant to join our award winning team in Sydney.
At WARDY IT Solutions we are known for our expertise, innovation and delivering results to our clients. If you want to be continually challenged with new and exciting Microsoft SQL Server projects, then this is the role for you.
Based in Sydney but with travel, the successful applicant will be supported by our national team of Data Platform and Business Intelligence consultants to deliver outstanding outcomes for our clients.
Your experience and skills will include:
- 7 plus years Microsoft SQL Server (2005 - 2017) experience.
- Proven experience designing and implementing SQL Server environments including HA and DR technologies.
- Demonstrated expertise in Database Administration, Performance Tuning and Troubleshooting.
- Demonstrated experience in migrating and modernising SQL Server workloads.
- Experience designing, implementing and supporting BI and Analytics platforms (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, PowerBI).
- Experience designing and implementing cloud data platform solutions in Azure and AWS.
- Experience administrating at least one other RDBMS (Oracle, Sybase, MySQL etc.).
- Devops & CI/CD experience.
- Demonstrated experience applying incident, change and problem management principles.
The successful applicant will possess well developed analytical and problem solving skills as well as strong communication and documentation skills.
A relevant tertiary qualification or Microsoft Certification to MCSE level will be highly regarded.
