Client Details

Our client is a well-known medium sized financial services organisation who is currently looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager across Windows 10.

Description

Performance of this role typically requires:

• Demonstrated experience in managing cross-functional teams in a project environment
• Previous financial services experience with proven success in the implementation of financial platforms
• Demonstrated record of successfully planning, and managing projects of high complexity, cost and/or value in a medium sized corporate environment
• Demonstrated record of leading project delivery with a focus on delivery to scope, schedule, cost and quality plans
• Proven knowledge of, and experience using recognised project management methodologies and tools
• Knowledge of, or the ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of, PRINCE2 project management methodology
• Proven ability to lead the development of solutions with a focus on business enablement and outcomes
• Proven ability/experience in corporate and project procurement processes including tendering
• Demonstrated experience coaching and supporting a team by identifying development needs and providing coaching for less experienced staff
• Proven knowledge and understanding the function of governance structures in a medium sized corporate environment
• Sound knowledge of the objectives of risk management and compliance demonstrated by prompt identification and escalation of issues according to the Risk Management framework

Profile

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience running a variety of projects including Application and Infrastructure upgrades
• Experience running multiple projects in parallel
• Experience running projects in the Financial Services industry segment
• Experience running projects that impact all areas of the organistion
• Experience running projects that impact business process change, technology and organisational change
• Demonstrated skills in stakeholder management with the ability to influence at all levels
• Demonstrated superior communication skills (written, verbal and interpersonal - with a broad range of people at all levels in a medium sized corporate environment).
• Demonstrated inclusive, collaborative and engaging approach (including the ability to consult, facilitate, negotiate and influence with a broad range of people at all levels
• Proven ability to take a strategic view and align initiatives with that view
• Proven ability to manage, lead, coach, motivate and mentor a team of project professionals
• Proven ability to implement and manage a client focused service delivery and performance management culture.
