Our client is a major international banking and financial services company and they provide a comprehensive and integrated range of financial products and services, with millions of customers in Australia. They are well into a wide array of digital, business and complex technology transformation initiatives.
They have now decided to migrate the production workloads for their API platform to AWS to enable quicker speed to market and increased resiliency for the platform and are seeking experienced developers for an initial 6 month contract in Melbourne CBD.
This role will be expected to provide development and support of APIs for project delivery across internal and external Axway API platforms. Further responsibilities listed in below:
- Contribute during the various agile rituals (e.g. standup, card kick-offs, walkthroughs, and showcases
- Review API code and design decisions
- Contribute to the development of API applying the industry standards.
- Working with business analysts to ensure requirements are clear as well as offering technical input into the requirements process
- Working with solution designers to provide API team input into the solution design
- Hands on designing and coding of API applications
Technical Skills suitable for this role:
- 3-5 years of experience in an API platform
- 5 years+ experience in Java, JS
- Experience with Axway Gateway would be highly desirable
- Experience working with diverse teams from Development, Testing, Operations, Security, Architecture, Infrastructure to Business & Management
- Continuous Integration & Delivery practices and tools (Jenkins)
- Good understanding of Quality Control and Test Automation in Agile-based Continuous Integration environments.
