The Role

Interscale has already undergone some considerable growth in 2018 and to assist us with this, and immediate growth plans, we have a requirement for an experienced Solutions Architect / Level 3 technical lead to join the business. As part of this role, you will be expected to focus on the following activities:

• Working with the Director of Sales and Technical Director to drive new business acquisition and development
• Providing technical architecture, support and advice during proposal writing, solution design and project delivery
• Working with new and existing clients as a trusted advisor, gaining insight to their business and shaping purpose-fit solutions to support their differentiation
• Identifying new relationships and opportunities to drive business growth and build brand loyalty
• Supporting internal innovation projects and developing differentiation solutions to enhance our market presence
• Providing architectural guidance and technical support and leadership to our internal Level 1-2 technical resources

Cultural fit is of a massive importance to us, so we’re on the lookout for people with the right attitude, passion, self-directed approach, with a healthy dose of grit. Additionally, you'll require the following qualifications and experience:

• Experience in pre-sales and solution architecture within SME & Mid-market accounts
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Server architecture and associated technologies, with a focus on Cloud (MS Azure Cloud Platform and Infrastructure and/or AWS Solutions Architect Associate/Professional certifications are preferable)
• Experience in solutions design; whether as an architect or in a senior technical or consulting role
• Communication and presentation skills are required as you'll be expected to support client presentations and workshops
• Establish and maintain relationships with customers, our vendor partners, as well as industry peak-bodies and associations
• Effective communications across all levels of the organisation, from senior business management to end-user stakeholders
• Willingness to get involved within the growing business at Interscale - as we're still in start-up phase with business growth there are times when we need all hands on deck!
• Energy, enthusiasm and determination are a must!
