Full Stack Javascript Developer

As a Full Stack Developer you will collaborate with a tech team of 20+ to design and build current and future enterprise applications for NSW Government's digital transformation. This is an unparalleled opportunity for a passionate Full Stack Developer to gain knowledge from highly experienced Architects and Engineers within a fast-paced and fun environment. You will work closely with stakeholders in an iterative manner to ensure all stages of the project is delivered on time and in line with the clients expectations. You will be a Javascript Developer with Node.js experience who is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming. Responsibilities will include implementing visual elements and their behaviours with user interactions. You will work with both front and back-end web developers to build all client-side logic. You will also bridge the gap between the visual elements and the server-side infrastructure, taking an active role on both sides, and defining how the application looks and functions.

Skills and Qualifications
• Strong understanding of JavaScript, NodeJS, HTML5, CSS3
• Must be able to manage the interchange of data between server and the users using NodeJS
• Ideally experience using Form libraries alongside Javascript (Form.io would be advantageous)
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around such issues
• Familiarity with JavaScript module loaders, such as Require.js and AMD
• Familiarity with front-end build tools, such as Grunt and Gulp.js
• Good understanding of browser rendering behaviour and performance
