This position plays a strategic leadership role in ensuring the operations group delivers superior services across the group. This includes strategic planning and execution in the areas of customer management, financial and physical resources for the group, along with developing and implementing business improvement strategies. To be successful you will need superior strategic thinking, communication, planning, and influencing skills, along with exceptional business and financial acumen.
 
The Role:

• You will lead the change management implementation activities to ensure a successful transition to an improved workforce management approach and business model.
• Improve the operational systems, processes and policies in support of organizations mission -- specifically, support better management reporting, information flow and management, business process and organizational planning.
• Manage and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of Support Services (on boarding, implementation team and customer service) through improvements to each function as well as coordination and communication between support and business functions.
• Oversee overall financial management, planning, systems and controls.
• Management of operation budget in coordination with the CFO/CEO.
• You will provide specialised knowledge of change management methodologies, practices and approaches in relation to workforce management solutions and business transformation to improve the opportunity for success in achieving the project objectives.
• Completing project reports and presentations for senior stakeholders across the group - this will include reporting on timelines, costs, risks, resources and overall progress.

To be successful in this position you will have most of the following: 

• Tertiary qualified with a finance or business related degree (Logistics & Supply Chain)
• Proven direct people management skills, ideally of teams consisting of business, technical or operations professionals
• Outstanding stakeholder management experience, including at the executive level and across a broad range of business units in a large complex organisation
• Excellent change planning, analysis, interventions, resistance management, conceptualisation and problem solving skills, along with the management of multiple deliverables within agreed priorities, timeframes and accountabilities.
• Strategy and planning: ability to think ahead and plan over a 12-24 month time span and set realistic expectations to other managers
• Experience identifying areas of improvement and leading the improvement solution.
• Background in influencing and negotiating outcomes with stakeholders within your business
