• Duration – 3 months with a possible extension

Finite is seeking a Network Administrator to join a leading government agency on a 3 month contract. This role will be based in Parramatta. Experience working with routing, switching (Avaya and Cisco) devices would be ideal for this role.

Role Responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for the day to day management and troubleshooting of the organisation’s infrastructure including the LAN, WAN and WLAN.
• You will support and manage the organisation's infrastructure, be responsible for liaising with telecommunications & external contractors and will maintain an effective monitoring and backup regime.
• The position is a member of the Business Technology Services Operations network team and reports to the Team Leader.
• The position provides network support and implementation for all network related matters.

Skills and Experience Required:

• 3-5 years experience working in a Network Administration function.  
• Working experience with routing, switching (Avaya and Cisco)
• Experienced with managing a Cisco Wireless LAN environment
• Demonstrated experience in Load balancers (F5), Firewalls (Juniper and Palo Alto)
• General network administrator responsibilities
• Ability to prioritize, manage time and resources.
