Our client, a large, Federal Government Organisation, is Seeking the experience of a Solution Architect (Web Strategy, Security & Integration) for a long 12+12+12 month contract located in South Canberra.
The primary duties of theSolution Architect (Web Strategy, Security & Integration) will include but not be limited to:
- The end-to-end solution design for various projects and provisioning systems across the CIO Group.
- Evaluating customer requirements and mapping them to business processes;
- Functional and solution architecture, ensuring a proper implementation from a solution architecture point of view;
- Detailing standards, guidelines and strategy in various domains;
- Leads the development of architectures for complex systems, ensuring consistency with specified requirements;
- Establish policy and strategy for the selection of systems architecture components, and co-ordinates design activities, promoting the discipline to ensure consistency;
- Ensure appropriate standards (corporate, industry, national and international) are adhered to;
- Within a business change programme, manage the target design, policies and standards, working proactively to maintain a stable, viable architecture and ensure consistency of design across projects within the programme.
To be considered for this long Solution Architect (Web Strategy, Security & Integration) contract opportunity you must have:
- A Security Clearance or the ability to obtain (Australian Citizenship Mandatory);
- Demonstrated high-level experience as a Solution Architect in large and complex, enterprise environments (preferably with Federal Government organisations);
- Demonstrated experience in identity management, security systems, and integration technologies;
- Expert knowledge and extensive experience in web service technology and standards, e.g. HTTP, REST, SOAP, WSDL, SML, JSON, JWT;
- Demonstrated extensive experience in design and implementation of services in Service-Oriented Architectures;
- Broad knowledge and experience of systems analysis, high-level architecture, detailed solution design, development, deployment and maintenance of large and complex integration solutions, B2B/B2C/B2G/G2G solutions and web applications;
- Demonstrated experience in preparing complex architectural and design documentation;
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence and manage people.
