Company:
A leading Enterprise organisation undergoing a transformation, by deploying continuous improvement (CI) practices, to refine and enhance internal networks using Lean Six Sigma methodologies. This objective will create a culture which focuses on end to end process improvement enabling the business to maintain its market leading position.

Role:

As a Continuous Improvement Delivery Lead, you will support, lead and influence the business to improve your network. Through identification and analysis of cost, quality and service results, the role will work hand in hand with the wider group to realise significant business benefits. You will also be responsible for the following:

  • Advocate a customer first approach by remaining closely aligned to customer requirements and consistently drive projects which deliver meaningful improvements
  • Drive a culture where leaders consistently adopt and demonstrate a problem-solving approach to their work
  • Build a lean and agile environment which can react quickly to our ever-changing business requirements
  • Sell the benefits of CI methodology to the Supply Chain and wider business
  • Manage a continuous improvement pipeline of projects with a primary focus on the replication of initiatives to effectively improve and standardise the whole network
  • Identify and engage operational sponsors and owners for national initiatives
  • Facilitate and support all team members to deliver on CI initiatives
  • Track project milestones and deliverables, ensuring projects meet stated objectives and committed benefits

Essential Skills and Experience Required:

  • Minimum 5 years experience working within a Supply Chain, Third Party Logistic (3PL) or Transport environment
  • Qualification or broad experience in CI/Process methodologies (Lean Six Sigma Black / Green Belt qualification or TPM: Total performance management)
  • Ability to facilitate Continuous Improvement workshops in a cross functional environment to design improved operating models and processes
  • Ability to re-engineer processes to deliver cost, quality and service improvements
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills seeking commitment for change of process
  • Experience providing leadership for the development of a Continuous Improvement culture in an organisation
