About the Role
- The current ICT program covers a wide range of technologies across most aspects of enterprise infrastructure. You will be required to deliver projects in accordance with the ICT Governance Framework using appropriate methodologies
- You will have managed Infrastructure projects through all phases of the project lifecycle including inception, design, implementation, commissioning, testing and close
- You’re an experienced project manager comfortable dealing with multiple stakeholders from all levels of the organisation, including managing vendor relationships, whilst utilising meticulous project planning, time management and solid business analysis skills. Your excellent interpersonal skills and ability to develop and maintain realistic project plans to deliver successful results to the business are crucial
- You will ensure projects comply with internal risk management framework, facilitate project working groups and relevant steering committees. Liaising with the business on financial, procurement and change requirements, you will oversee the successful transition of projects into operations
- The successful candidate can anticipate working in an environment where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged to ensure optimum performance and outcomes for both employees and the organisation
This is a great opportunity for a 6 month contract in Newcastle on a daily rate of max $625 + super. Potential for contract extensions.
Skills & Experience Required
- Experience delivering projects involving;
- IT Networks - structured cabling, switches, Wi-Fi , telecommunications links
- Audio Visual design, installation and commissioning
- Telephony
- Desktops and Printers
- Proven experience successfully managing IT Infrastructure projects end to end including the planning process and development of cost estimates
- Highly developed stakeholder management skills will see you forge strong relationships with vendors as well as the ability to work with building and facilities management
- Experience working with Prince2 Methodology, ideally with certification
