The Role:
FXDMS is seeking an IT Manager to join our Technology and Professional Services (TaPS) group. This role based in our Moorebank site will see you responsible for leading our IT Implementations team in the delivery of customer communications solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Managing the overall department workload, balancing and controlling business priorities
- Ensure that quality procedures are followed and standards maintained
- Promote and implement enterprise standards in regards to security and preferred solution platforms
- Assist in building and supporting the NSW IT Implementations team to achieve maximum business benefit
- Represent IT Implementations and the broader TaPS team as a member of NSW Branch Management Team
- Developing the technical and general competencies of Implementation Team.
- Implementing change within the department towards Industry Best Practice.
- Reporting on resource levels and scheduling to ensure that a clear understanding of client commitments and schedules are known to various business and IT managers.
- Escalate issues as and when appropriate to TaPS and Branch management
Qualification and Experience:
Tertiary qualifications in Computing/IT or related discipline
Line management experience
Complete understanding of print & mail business and how it is transitioning to electronic channels
Practical understanding of project management methodologies and their application
An understanding of the sales cycle and the role that pre-sales technical staff play

The successful applicant will need to undergo a National Police Clearance Check acceptable by FXDMS and As a part of the role, there may be a requirement to complete an Australian Taxation Office and Federal Police Security check
