The Role
Our retail team is currently seeking a Senior Backend Developer to focus on rebuilding platforms across our retail function. You will be joining an agile, dynamic and fast-paced team who thrive on delivery. Working in a collaborative team you will have ownership over your work from development to production and the opportunity to work on exciting technology solutions.

What you’ll do

• Design, develop and maintain world-class systems and services utilised within the carsales network, with focus on efficiency, scalability, stability and customer satisfaction
• Work closely with other teams to integrate systems across the Carsales network
• Maintain and improve the overall quality of the code base
• Work to planned test and release cycles
• Deliver innovative, engaging prototypes using the latest technologies

What you’ll need

• You’re comfortable with relational databases
• Familiar with building windows services and applications
• Passion for algorithms and optimisation
• Exposure to an analytical and technical environment
• Experience in SQL Server/Oracle
• You’re an expert on C#, ASP.Net MVC and .Net Core
• You understand how to build simple, scalable and reliable solutions
• Exposure to AWS exposure and continuous delivery
