Exciting new role with employer of choice to work at the strategic portfolio level. This role will see you leading and managing the ICT Planning function within IT. The role works closely with both business and ICT areas to ensure that ICT investment aligns with endorsed strategic directions and business demand. The role is responsible for ensuring that proposed ICT investment initiatives have been appropriately investigated and assessed prior to inclusion in the ICT portfolio.
Key accountabilities for this include ensuring that the development of the ICT portfolio is informed by comprehensive analysis of current and future directions. You will also be responsible for establishing and implementing an ICT Investment planning framework which defines the process and documentation required to inform the investment portfolio board.
Your knowledge and experience shall include:
- Proven experience (3-5 years) in planning the design and implementation of the ICT investment portfolio in a complex business environment;
- Detailed knowledge of ICT planning, ICT investment planning and/or ICT Portfolio Management, with experience in applying industry best-practice approaches and defined financial management standards;
- Detailed knowledge of current and emerging technology trends and developments and their application to strategic business outcomes; and
- Understanding of enterprise architecture and ICT strategy development, and the implications of existing architectures, policies, platforms and solutions that support the business, and experience in communicating these to customers.
