Green Light Worldwide are looking for a Senior Enterprise Agile Coach to help us continue to adopt the appropriate Agile delivery techniques within our product teams.

 

As part of the Green Light Lean Agile Practice, this position will provide leadership in training and coaching to teams adopting Lean Agile. The Senior Enterprise Agile Coach will work with leaders and associates with varying levels of Agile knowledge to educate, propose and facilitate the adoption and maturity of Lean Agile and Organizational Agility.

 

The Senior Enterprise Agile Coach will play a key role in establishing, growing and continuously improving the foundational materials, processes and brand of the Agile Practice.

 

The Senior Enterprise Agile Coach will lead team and program level adoption to ensure effective application of Lean Agile principles and applicable standards in alignment with the Agile methodologies at Green Lights Client Site.

 

Responsibilities:
  • Lead client organizations in their agile adoption and improvement journey as an Enterprise-level Agile Coach.
  • Design, advise and promote strategic agile direction and transformations in partnership with organizational leaders.
  • Provide agile coaching to impacted executive, business and technology functions.
  • Establish and implement metrics to optimize agile delivery and measure business agility in terms of predictability, reliability, and adaptability.
  • Assess and communicate enterprise-wide agile adoption progress against coaching, improvement, and change roadmaps.
  • Execute and manage the quarterly release training planning processes.
  • Coach Product Managers, Architects, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Agile Coaches, Agile teams, and senior management, to enhance Agile application, release planning, agile ceremonies, Kanban best practices, test-driven development, continuous integration, and continuous delivery practices.
  • Share agile (Scrum) and/or Kanban best practices through informal communication and/or formal training sessions.
  • Proactively manage issues and mitigate risk.
  • Identify potential people-side risks and anticipated points of resistance, and develop specific plans to mitigate and address concerns.
  • Mentor clients, work on projects independently, participate as a team member, or lead teams of less experienced consultants and/or clients to successful project delivery.
  • Provide leadership through hands on collaborative exercises/activities.
  • Build client knowledge and credibility quickly.
 

 

Requirements:
  • Exhibits the behaviours of a Lean-Agile with a Lean-Agile mindset. Helps the team embrace agile core values, adopt and apply agile principles, and implement agile practices. 
  • Understand the core values and principles of the Agile Manifesto and how to apply those in a regulated environment. 
  • Facilitate agile training within the organization usually assisted by one or more coaches. 
  • Identify and suggest process changes which move the organization toward agility. 
  • Helps the organization create an implementation plan and roadmap. 
  • Maintain and communicate key performance metrics and visual reports to promote transparency and accountability. 
  • Coaches the Scrum Master in the facilitation of agile ceremonies. 
  • Trained as a team facilitator and is constantly engaged in challenging the old norms of development in order to improve performance in the areas of quality, predictability, flow and velocity. Helps the team focus on daily and Iteration Goals in the context of current PI Objectives. 
  • Empower with a Lean Portfolio and Enhance Lean-Agile principles in the SDLC. 
  • Support a Lean-Agile transformation in the enterprise. 
  • Be able to foster relentless/continuous improvement at the team and program levels. 
  • Recognize Scaled Agile Scrum anti-patterns and guide to correct. 
  • Ability to work with all levels of the organization from the team to C-suite.
  • Adaptable self-starter who is skilled at creating structure in ambiguous environments.
  • Expert knowledge of the business implications of an Agile transformation.
  • Expert knowledge in multiple software delivery practices: Agile, Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, XP and Lean.
  • Experience leading all Agile ceremonies including: program increment, sprint planning, demo, retrospective, and stand-up sessions.
  • Certification in team agile practices (e.g., CSM, CPF, SAFe®, etc.) or 2 years of equivalent work experience.
  • CSP and SPC4 certifications preferred.
