Account Manager 

RiskMan International is an innovative software development company that offers the chance to work with a dedicated and experienced team, in a fast paced environment.

We are a leading provider of Risk and Incident Management solutions to the Public and Private Healthcare sector.  With over a quarter of a million users and twenty years' experience we are constantly expanding into new markets and locations. RiskMan International was acquired by Datix Ltd in 2017 and now forms part of the Datix group with offices in the UK, USA and Australia.

As a result of rapid and ongoing expansion we are seeking to fill an important role in our organisation that requires excellence in customer service and Account Management.

The Role:

  • You will be working with existing clients throughout Australia and overseas to manage the after sales relationship.

  • You will be working with existing clients to co-ordinate enhancements to their existing system.

  • You will need to accurately document customer's requirements and communicate this information to developers and other personnel as required. Strong interpersonal skills are essential for this requirement.

  • You will be required to learn the intricacies of the RiskMan.Net system and provide demonstrations to new and existing clients as required.

  • You will be required to prepare sales proposals for new and existing clients as required.

  • The role may involve local and interstate travel, with opportunities for overseas travel.  This could be for sales demonstrations, relationship building or exhibitions.

Ideal Qualities:

  • Must have the ability and confidence to work autonomously as well as being an excellent team player.

  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines - must be able to prioritise accordingly.
  • Must have exceptional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills; with strong relationship management expertise.

  • Ability to form close relationships with customers to become a trusted advisor.
  • You must have minimum 5 years experience as an Account Manager/Business Development Manager preferably in a software development environment.

  • A Workplace Health and Safety, Quality or Health background would be ideal, but not essential.

  • You must be comfortable and competent at managing competing deadlines and co-ordinating task completion.

  • Must have current drivers licence and vehicle.

The Position:

  • Full time position with a 6 month probation period

  • Convenient location - close to City, public transport and affordable all-day parking.

  • Salary commensurate with experience
