The Company
My client is in the need for a strong L3/L2 Desktop Engineer who can be very technical hands on and deal with customer issues. They are located just over the bridge and are offering a variety of benefits from new technologies, work life balance, and 1 on 1 training. Skills and Experience
- Demonstrate and maintain a high level of competency with:
- Citrix / Remote Desktop Environments
- Active Directory and Group Policy management
- VMWare or Hyper-V virtualisation
- Comprehensive understanding of Windows client & server operating systems, including Windows XP, Windows Vista, 7, 8, 10, Windows Server 2003, 2008, 2012
- Apple Macintosh Environments
- HP Server Infrastructure
- Microsoft Exchange Environments
- Manage security software
- Managing storage requirements
Duties and Responsibility’s
- Provide Level 3 and Level 2 technical support to clients via telephone, email and remote support tools.
- Resolve incidents assigned to you in a timely manner ensuring customer service and client outcomes are paramount.
- Triage incoming client calls and incidents and manage escalations Engineers, as required.
- Track and manage all support services and documentation.
- Monitor and action alerts from client monitoring systems.
