Our esteemed govt. client wishes to engage a skilled Business Analyst for an Aug. start, initial term is until 30 June 2019. There is almost 2-3 yrs. worth of work in this contract role.
About the Role & Duties:
As an experienced Business Analyst/Senior Business Analyst you will provide high-quality business analysis and system analysis services for the Security Branches of the client. You will work with internal and external stakeholders to gain a clear understanding of the requirements and objectives for the development of a physical and operational security measure system/s. Key duties will include:
- Lead a program of work to define, report and support delivery of an effective ICT solution.
- Identify and model functional relationships across the physical and operational security business domain domestically and overseas.
- Support the ICT Division by providing analysis of operational options and issues.
- This role is suited to a self-motivated individual who can work effectively, either individually or within a project-based team.
Skills & Experience required:
- High level of skill in gathering and documenting high level and detailed business requirements, functional and non-functional requirements and documenting business rules across a broad spectrum of business and ICT stakeholders;
- High level of skill in relationship management including negotiating critical outcomes, networking with and influencing key stakeholders and developing and reinforcing relationship management skills within a team;
- High level of analytical and problem-solving skills.
Due to the security requirements of the position, all applicants must be Australian Citizens and hold a current NV1 clearance.
