About the role:
The purpose of this position is to act as developer, solutions provider & support for the Pronto ERP application.
Undertake the required 4GL work required for project work, transformation programme and BAU needs comprising of support to Pronto users, troubleshoot, investigate and resolve Pronto related issues. Liaise with internal users on Pronto related tasks ensuring the smooth and efficient support delivery of the ERP (Pronto) System.
You will be responsible for:
- Pronto development for business transformation & project development work requiring 4GL skills
- Assess impact of technical changes and manage implementation where required
- Test and implement software upgrades as required to technology in scope
- Document requirements/issues and log calls with Pronto Software – external assistance
- Troubleshoot problems and make recommendations for modification to rectify faults
- Meet the team’s response to resolution time targets
- Advise on improved procedures and timings
- Undertake technical training and testing of new products and in turn update information databases for use of technical and non-technical people
- Make recommendations on and participate in project work
- Maintain up to date documentation of IT procedures, configurations and solutions
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Pronto ERP back end system knowledge
- Pronto individual Module knowledge GL, Debtors Creditors, Project, Service, Payroll, Alert Intelligence, Trueforms
- Pronto 4GL programming knowledge
- Ability to be able to create new object in Custom data dictionary in Pronto
- Excellent technical diagnostics and resolution skills
- Flexible to alternate solutions
- Demonstrated professional approach to communication with an excellent phone manner
- Solid understanding of API’s, exportable procedures, component libraries and Proscreen technologies
- SQL queries, developer skills
- Strong stakeholder communication skills
