We are now seeking a Commercial Channel Manager for our Display Solutions division.
Primary Accountability
Manage order intake and sales for NEC’s Display solutions channel business for the NSW region. Working closely with the entire NEC NSW Sales team, Channel and strategic Partners to achieve sales and budget.
Key Accountabilities
Account Management
- Manage relationships with Channel Partners to ensure sales targets are met. Uncover and Develop opportunities with end-user engagement and deliver the sale through to partners
- Coordinate, conduct and participate in sales promotions, campaigns, events, displays and demand generation programs
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment / time management skill
- Self-driven, highly motivated and passionate about sales
Technical/End-user Support
- Investigate, analyse and resolve/escalate technical issues raised by the customer, in consultation with the relevant subject matter expert as required
- Initiate Product and solution Demonstrations, Product Roadmaps and Training
Sales Planning
- Contribute to NEC’s sales planning process by through forecasting, activity planning, sales initiatives, territory and account planning, opportunity planning, delivering to commitments, and actively driving and growing the number of new accounts
- Monitor competitor activity and report on significant events or trends across designated region reporting
- Provide regular reports to share the health of the channel partnership, share opportunities and identify trends
Experience, Competencies and Qualification Required:
- Strong Relationship management, business development and communication skills
- Ability to influence at all levels and communicate technical information
- Strong existing network within the Audio Visual Industry
- Minimum 5 – 7 years sales experience within Channel Account role
- Prior experience selling solutions within Display solutions and the ICT Industry
