Green Light Worldwide’ s delivery team is looking for a Change Coordinator in either Sydney or Melbourne to join a large program of work and play a key role in the successful a Data Centre Migration.

 

The Change Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day management of the change request process.  This is accomplished through building and reviewing change plans based on requirements provided by the Project Manager and Technical Services Lead, ensuring that the change proceeds in a timely fashion and ensuring that lead times are met. The Change Coordinator will keep the individual Project Managers and PMO informed of task accomplishment, issues and status updates.

 

 

Responsibilities:

• Day to day management of the change request process.
• Provide input into planning change management activities.
• Build and review the project change plans.
• Coordinate with project managers, account team and other stakeholders to obtain required information to facilitate change requests.
• Build and manage a forward schedule of change.
• Support the service management lead in engagement and training of project team members in service management processes.
• Provide support where required to project managers to qualify readiness for transition and operation of the solution post implementation for large complex changes or multiple changes.
• Attend account and other change boards as required, and support and represent all programme change submissions.
• Engage as the service provider change manager in a multi-vendor environment.
• Apply continual improvement and communicate lessons learned to further improvements in policies, processes, and procedures.
• Adherence to standardized documentation, communication, reporting, monitoring, and audit requirements.
• Conducting post-implementation reviews to validate the results of the change request.

 

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience using an enterprise service management platform such as ServiceNow or HP Service Manager
• Experience in technical change, attendance at Change Boards and creation of submissions to change boards.
• Experience with infrastructure and/or application relocation projects.
• Broad understanding of the technologies involved and an ability to perceive gaps in explanations and descriptions.
• Experience with distributed and leveraged delivery models.
• Ability to work with conflicting goals and agendas of different teams.
• Enthusiasm for asking probing questions.
• Ability to manage and drive the change management process.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Understand, utilise and share knowledge of ITIL.
• Experience in multi-vendor environments.

 

Desirable Requirements:

• Some experience with enterprise application architectures.
• Experience in the Government, Financial and/or Telecommunications industries.
• Experience in the one or more of the areas of infrastructure, middleware, networking, security, data management, or application development.
• Experience with Data Centres and/or Data Centre Migrations.

 

Special Requirements:

• Australian citizenship and an existing Federal Government Security clearance, or ability to obtain one.
• Some out of hours work and travel may be required.
