The Role
The Senior Systems Administrator plays a key role in the overall design, implementation, review and maintenance of ICTouch’s internal and client related ICT environments. Within this, the Senior Systems Administrator provides a high level of service and support to ICTouch staff and clients; all of whom depend on the availability of the ICT infrastructure and systems. If you want to be a part of a dynamic team with the autonomy to manage a rapidly growing ICT environment without being just a number you will want to look closely at this role.
Experience
- High level Windows Server Administration skills including Active Directory & Group Policy management
- Strong Office365 & Azure AD skills
- Strong Citrix & Remote Desktop Services Skills
- Strong networking, routing and switching experience, Cisco & Fortinet preferred
- Good Exchange & SQL Server management skills
- Good Hyper-V and VMware skills
- Good Systems Management experience including scripting and maintenance scheduling
About You
As a qualified and experienced ICT professional, the successful candidate will have at least five years’ experience in deploying and maintaining windows network environments and will be able to meet the following requirements:
- Preferably hold an ICT or Computer Science related tertiary qualification.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively plan, manage and deliver projects and work tasks to time, quality and cost standards.
- You are an intelligent, self-motivated, quick thinking, results orientated individual with the ability to work in a team environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to effectively build and manage varied client and stakeholder relationships and expectations.
- Highly developed problem solving and broad technical skills with a demonstrated ability to develop written technical documentation.
- Outstanding communication skills are essential
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and to demonstrate a proactive approach in undertaking independent learning and research
- High level of professionalism coupled with flexibility in high-pressure situations.
