We specialise in the development and delivery of rich web and mobile software solutions for government agencies in the area of regulation, compliance and enforcement.

What a day for you might look like for a Senior Software Engineer at Itree:

Starting the morning with a surf at North Gong, you walk to the innovation campus where you use the modern facilities for a quick shower before grabbing a coffee from Picallo Me using an Itree coffee voucher on the way to your desk. You have a quick check of your emails and a look at Confluence before your teams' stand up meeting which gets you ready for the day. You celebrate the collective success of achieving a significant milestone before storming some blockers that have been raised in relation to the next version release. Grabbing a fresh piece of fruit from the well-stocked (with goodies and baddies) kitchen, you head to your desk and stand or sit whilst crunching on with work.

It's almost lunchtime so you grab a coke from the fridge, and head downstairs for some lunch with your workmates. You finish eating so join in with a competitive/fun game of table tennis. After lunch you have a one-on-one with your Exec whilst walking around the lake, hashing out some challenges and opportunities for you and your team. Once back at your desk, heads down, bums up whilst you use cutting edge technologies to develop features and collaborate with Designers, Analysts and Testers to ensure a right first time, quality delivery for our customers. Quick stretch and cup of tea, wander past HR to check on your salary packaging application and also pinching a chocolate, and then back to it. As it draws to the end of the day, you check in on the team and their work status and prepare for the next day. Before heading home for the evening, you put in an hour at the gym on campus before catching the free Gong Shuttle home.

We will check you have the following:

• Tertiary qualifications in IT, computer science or engineering
• 5 years+ experience with either Enterprise Java or Enterprise Front End Javascript development
• Experience with Agile development methodologies
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to work across functional teams
• The right to work in Australia
• A good attitude

The following would be nice….

• Microsoft SQL Server or other relational database
• Git, Mercurial or other DVCS
• Maven
• JUnit or other unit testing approaches
• Experience with Angular Framework
• Experience in Mobile App development
• Team Lead experience desirable
• Servlet container or application server, e.g Tomcat
