The purpose of the role is to oversee the development of the enterprise architectural framework and all enterprise architecture artefacts and standards. The incumbent will provide a pragmatic enterprise architecture approach and a portfolio view of the programs needed to move from current  to future state.  

Requirements:

  • Contemporary knowledge of information management and technology and their application within a business context.
  • Extensive and demonstrated previous experience in leading enterprise architecture functions in a complex environment
  • Experience in developing EA across all layers of architecture including business capability models
  • Experience in architecting solutions using Cloud Computing models and solutions
  • Experience working in an environment with a mature and performing EA practice
  • Experience with contemporary business technologies and architectural frameworks, knowledge of industry standard enterprise architecture methodologies, tools, and techniques
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills including quality, concise technical documentation, report writing and presentations
  • Assists clients to clarify their needs
  • Clarifies expectations of the roles, process and outcomes
  • Develops practical solutions to problems
  • Liaises regularly with clients
  • Provides advice in area of expertise
  • Responds flexibly to client needs
  • Establishes systems and procedures to guide work and track progress
  • Identifies processes, tasks and resources required to achieve a goal
  • Recognises actual and potential barriers and finds effective ways to deal with them
  • Sets clearly defined objectives and priorities and operates accordingly, reviewing and adjusting as required
  • Analyses issues from different perspectives and draws sound inferences from information available
  • Identifies and proposes workable solutions to problems
  • Implements solutions, evaluates effectiveness and adjusts actions as required
  • Liaises with stakeholders
  • Seeks all relevant information for problem-solving
  • Proactive identification, analysis and remediation of issues that prevent project outputs or business outcomes from being met
  • Performs highly complex work activities covering technical, financial and quality aspects.
  • Establishes clear and comprehensive contracts
  • Establishes and maintains strong working relationships
  • Actively monitors expenditure and risks and resolves problems where these arise
  • Uses fair, transparent and competitive purchasing processes
  • Procurement Knowledge - Demonstrated experience working within procurement policies and procedures that align to principles of accountability, scalability, probity and value for money
  • Procurement Expertise – Demonstrated experience undertaking procurement related roles to deliver savings/benefits across an organisation
