A fantastic part time opportunity has become available for an experienced IT Support Engineer to join an innovative forward thinking company based in Melbourne. You will enjoy their beautiful offices and great team culture. Our client is ideally looking for someone keen to return to work or a university student seeking part time hours. 


ABOUT THE ROLE:

In this role you will be working alongside the business administrator to review, investigate and provide level 1 & 2 Tech support to 60+ staff members. This role will additionally have you stepping up to assist level 3 queries when required.

 
 KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Review and monitor internal system ticket queues 
• Support & educate end users with all tech queries 
• Work on technology projects with business administrator
• Ability to identify, analyse and resolve technical problems 
• Identify opportunities to improve and streamline the IT process

ATTRIBUTES & SKILLS:

• Ability to work within a team and autonomously when required
• Strong written and verbal communication skills essential
• Personable, approachable and self-confident
• Willingness to be an all rounder and multitask  
• Exceptional problem solving and time management skills

TECHNICAL/ QUALIFICATIONS:

• At least 1-2 years previous experience in a Technical Support role
• Experience and knowledge of Windows Server Operating Systems
• Experience and knowledge of Exchange and other Mail servers
• Experience and knowledge with JIRA desirable but not essential.
