The Digital Transformation Agency is looking for a high performing, experienced Solution Architect to work for the Platforms Branch. You will be a motivated self-starter with strong initiative, organisational skills and attention to detail who is comfortable working in a dynamic and agile environment.
The role is varied and includes responsibility for developing technical, strategic and operational documents and diagrams by mapping business requirements to the systems technical requirements. Applicants must be able to manage competing priorities in a professional manner.
The Solution Architect holds a position of trust and will be required to manage professional relationships externally and throughout the agency.
Current Commonwealth Government baseline security clearance is required
Essential skills and experience
- Proven experience in delivering high quality, well-structured communication that is fit-for-purpose
- Undertake objective, critical analysis to draw accurate conclusions that recognise and manage contextual issues
- Demonstrated ability to liaise with a range of internal and external stakeholders to deliver results that align with the organisation’s priorities and direction
- Demonstrated ability to communicate technical information and designs; including the ability to interpret, analyse and present this
- Adapts communication to the knowledge, experience and expectations of the audience
- Demonstrated experience in problem solving, analytical and conceptual skills to manage competing priorities
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, including experience in negotiating with senior stakeholders
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff across geographically dispersed teams and organisations
Nice-to-have skills and experience
- Understanding and/or experience working within an agile management environment and working across organisational boundaries and physical locations to deliver services and project outcomes.
- Excellent organisation, analysis and communication skills
