About the Company

Our ACT client protects and supports the community and the environment by providing high quality drinking water and wastewater services to the ACT and surrounding regions. With $2 billion of water and waste water assets, their infrastructure network is over 6440 kilometres of pipeline delivering more than 100 megalitres of water each day and treating over 29 gigalitres of wastewater each year.

About the role

Based in Canberra, their organisation will continue to embrace the Scaled Agile Framework (or SAFe) methodology as they mature toward a DEVOPS world. The role requires an individual with a blended skill set as you will have the responsibility for developing software code for test automation and white box testing; as such we are seeking an individual who has developed software code before becoming test-oriented.

About You

The ideal candidate would have at least 10 to 15 years of overall IT experience. 5 years of software development is required and test-oriented experience across automation and test management. Therefore a person with solid software development skills and test automation skills with some test management would be ideal.
 

• Can be less experienced in test automation but must be competent in software development;
• Must have experience in the planning and development of software code;
• Experience should reflect the ability to program software code for test automation;
• Candidates with light test automation but significant software development skills will be considered;
• Candidates with good software development and significant test automation coding skills shall be highly regarded.

Your resilience and time management ability will be used to ensure development and testing goals are met in a timely manner and your extensive leadership, interpersonal and negotiation skill will see you contribute to a positive high performing team.
