Excellent position for an IT Graduate with 1-2 years of experience with Networking!
A large government organisation is recruiting for multiple Junior Technical Officers to join their growing team to work on a large IT Infrastructure project in Sydney CBD.
Key responsibilities:
• Provide quality assurance for work completed by internal and external parties including verification of site surveys, cabling and installation.
• Record Wireless Access Points, local area network (LAN) switches and device locations against floor plans for records management purposes.
• Investigate, manage and resolve technical issues that are identified by project team members.
• Contribute and/or manage network cut overs.
• Provide high quality customer service
Key requirements:
• Understanding of switching, routing, WAN, LAN and basic networking skills
• Strong communication skills and excellent presentation skills
• Experience with providing quality assurance
• Experience in a large enterprise environment is desirable
