About the Role
This is a hands-on, technical role where you will apply your in-depth knowledge and experience across security environments to manage risks related to information security, physical security, business continuity planning, crisis management, privacy and compliance.
This will include understanding risks, analysing where security breaches may occur or have occurred, and repairing or strengthening systems against such breaches.
Role Requirements
To be successful you will need to demonstrate the following knowledge & experience:
- Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent work experience
- Extensive IT and security work experience with a broad range of exposure to systems analysis, application development, systems administration and IT security.
- Experience designing and implementing security solutions
- Working knowledge of security issues, techniques and implications across computer platforms
- Experience managing a SIEM system such as Splunk
- Knowledge of the technologies underpinning the IT assets
- Experience working with PCI-DSS, ISO27000 or VPDSS compliance based organisations
- ITIL Foundations Certified
- Strong customer service focus and commercial acumen
- Well-developed relationship management, communication and interpersonal skills.
