Trainee Optic Fibre Technician - Full-time
No previous industry experience is required however the successful candidate must hold a valid manual drivers licence, have a can-do attitude and a willingness to learn.
Experienced Optic Fibre Technician - Full-time
The successful candidate must hold a valid manual drivers licence, construction industry white card and must be able to demonstrate a high level of knowledge of the following:
- Fibre splicing
- OTDR and insertion loss testing
- Fault finding
- Equipment installation and commissioning
- Telstra workbooks
- Asbuilt documentation requirements
Previous experience on the Telstra, Vocus and Optus networks is a must.
Preferred but not essential:
- First aid/CPR
- Confined space
- EWP/High risk work licence
- Certificate III in telecommunications
$35 - $40 per hour dependant on experience plus company vehicle, mobile phone and laptop.
