We’re currently searching for an established and driven Selection Studio Manager to lead our diverse, fun and committed team at ‘The Edge’. Reporting into our State Manager Operations, you’ll lead, manage and continually strive to improve our Studio operation.

No doubt about it, this is an influential role within our business. You’ll inherit a fantastic team consisting of a Team Leader, Colour & Electrical Consultants and Design Assistants and will hit the ground running continuing to ensure our team deliver the most outstanding experience to our customers. 

‘A week in the life of your new role’ –

• Overseeing the day to day Studio operation including Workforce planning, studio and product merchandising, studio setup and flow, managing production in line with our Business plan and providing ongoing training and development of staff
• Identifying methods to continuously improve the Studio’s operations with regard to customer service, profitability, efficiency, safety and innovation
• Keeping abreast of market trends, industry developments and competitor activity
• Ensuring consistent and informative communication with staff, customers, suppliers, clients and other stakeholders
• Collaborating and partnering with other business units including Operations, Purchasing, RD&D, Construction, Sales, Marketing & Human Resources
• Developing and maintaining effective business partnerships with all management, customers and suppliers to ensure timeframes are met

You’ll bring to the role –

• A minimum of 5 years industry experience at senior level in a studio/retail environment along with demonstrated knowledge of construction industry operations
• Tertiary qualification in interior design
• Demonstrated leadership skills with a clear vision for inspiring and nurturing staff
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a collaborative, results focussed management style
• Sound financial management knowledge with the ability to analyse and report numerical data
• A fun, creative and inspiring personality that thrives working under pressure
