We are a national fashion label with our design and marketing seen in most major retailers.
As part of our commitment to new ideas and bringing graduates into our business we have a new opportunity for a Junior Product Developer to join the design team at our Scoresby facility.
THERE IS NO PUBLIC TRANSPORT NEARBY BUT THERE IS GOOD FREEWAY ACCESS
The apparel we design is sold in major department stores, discount department stores and specialist chains. Predominantly it is of a stretch printed textile basis and covers markets such as sleepwear, underwear, intimate wear and leisure apparel.
What you are looking for is a recently qualified graduate in fashion or textile design who has a passion for ready made fashion. This is not high end fashion, its everyday, wearable, quality products.
Your role will be supporting design, developing mood and story boards, chasing up samples .and textile and prints, helping with fit, and following up tech packs etc to assist the design team
You need to have skills in indesign, illustrator and photoshop but also have good hand sketching skills to be able to brainstorm within the design team.
You need to understand the layout of print or graphics in textile, understand how cut impacts on final print appearance.
Your imagination will be brimming with ideas and this will be an opportunity to take them from thought to reality and see your designs in the mass market.
A lot of our product is very female orientated so you will have an affinity with modern feminine fashion and complimentary print and design.
