Covering a period of Parental Leave, we have an opportunity for you to be a part of the Major Events and Corporate Affairs team as their Graphic Design Officer.
As the Graphic Design Officer you will work with clients to create design solutions for a variety of services and projects including advertising, newsletters, posters, promotional products, exhibitions and displays, corporate communications and corporate identity.
You will develop concepts to suit your client's purpose, whilst estimating the time required to complete the work.
You will bring to the role a creative flair, up-to-date knowledge of the design industry software and techniques using a professional approach to meet timeframes and budgets.
To be successful in this job you will have:
- Degree qualifications in Graphic Design or similar and/or extensive experience in the discipline of graphic design;
- Advanced technical skills in Creative Suite applications namely PhotoShop, Illustrator, InDesign and Acrobat Professional
- Extensive experience creating effective visual communication pieces for digital and print;
- Demonstrated experience in managing client relationships by gaining and sustaining the confidence of people at all levels of the organisation;
- Demonstrated ability to think creatively when responding to design briefs with minimal detail;
