Are you a passionate designer, ready to hit the ground running? We are looking for a highly motivated all-round junior graphic designer!
2B has a long and respected history of providing creative design and advertising solutions to the Canberra and national market. Our ideal candidate will be comfortable with working in a fast-paced professional environment to produce interesting and visually engaging design.
Your responsibilities will include assisting other members of the 2B team in developing and creating visual engaging infographics and producing high-end graphics for a variety of uses including but not limited to marketing materials and advertising, including brochures, branding, publication design and typesetting, powerpoint slides, social media content, posters, trade banners, promotional & launch materials, web design, web graphics, e-marketing & much more.
What We Are Looking For:
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Highly creative and strong design skills.
• Experience or a passion for book and publication design would be favourably considered.
• Proficient in design for both web and print design.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop & Illustrator)
• Good working knowledge of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint & Excel)
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment
• Extremely well organised and efficient
• Understanding and knowledge of WordPress & HTML
• Proven written skills for communications purposes
• Have an understanding of, and interest in, social media and digital communications
• Demonstrable ability to display initiative, take responsibility for projects and show a proactive attitude
• Understanding of print process & artwork set up.
• Experience with print production and large format printing preferred.
• Flexible and ability to manage changing priorities.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
• Ability to prioritise and work to deadline.
• Producing print ready artwork, web design and e-marketing.
