The Role

  • Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office
  • Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
  • Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable
  • Assist in ordering required goods including catering, stationary, general office supplies
  • Receive, sort and distribute daily mail, packages and deliveries
  • Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges)
  • Help coordinate meeting room bookings
  • Provide support for small internal events as required
  • Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as photocopying and faxing
  • Assist with the new starter on-boarding and termination process.

The Person

  • Good understanding of MS Office products (MS Excel, MS Word and MS Outlook)
  • Positive upbeat attitude
  • Good time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise work
  • 2 years experience as a Receptionist or Administrative Assistant ideal
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A creative mind with an ability to suggest improvements
  • Good attention to detail
