About the business and the role
We are a small family owned business currently looking for a full time Receptionist / Customer Service person to join our team based in Pakenham. Hours will be 38 hours per week Monday to Friday.
Job tasks and responsibilities
- Handle customer enquiries and direct calls where required
- Meeting and greeting visitors and clients in a friendly and approachable manner
- Communication and record keeping with customers regarding their orders
- Mail and banking duties
- Data entry and updating customer files
- Stationary and office supply management
- Photocopying, filing and scanning
- Perform various administrative tasks as required from staff
Skills and experience
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to organise workload and multi task to achieve required results
- Willingness to learn and work as a team
- Trustworthy and protective of confidential matters
