About the business and the role

We are a small family owned business currently looking for a full time Receptionist / Customer Service person to join our team based in Pakenham.  Hours will be 38 hours per week Monday to Friday.

Job tasks and responsibilities

  • Handle customer enquiries and direct calls where required
  • Meeting and greeting visitors and clients in a friendly and approachable manner
  • Communication and record keeping with customers regarding their orders
  • Mail and banking duties
  • Data entry and updating customer files
  • Stationary and office supply management
  • Photocopying, filing and scanning
  • Perform various administrative tasks as required from staff

Skills and experience

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to organise workload and multi task to achieve required results
  • Willingness to learn and work as a team
  • Trustworthy and protective of confidential matters
