Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) are currently seeking to hire a full-time Customer Service/Data Entry professional located in our Melbourne office in Preston.

SEL is a global manufacturer that provides products and services for the protection, control, automation, integration, communications and metering of electric power systems for industrial and utility markets.

The position:

Reporting to the Customer Service Supervisor your responsibilities will include:

• Data entry with a focus on accuracy and speed
• Provide an excellent level of customer service for our customers, internal sales reps and distributors
• Process customer sales orders, provide quotations, address logistic issues, track shipments, and send sales order acknowledgments to customers
• Create and maintain records in databases
• General administrative duties

As the successful candidate you should have the following:

• A strong customer focus with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated experience in a data entry/customer service role with order processing and logistics 
• Strong computer skills including database experience
• Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
• Strong problem solving skills
• Strong organisation skills with excellent time management 
• Ability to work independently as well as cooperatively in a team environment
• Tertiary studies in business or similar desirable
