Our current Marketing Administrator is moving on in a few months, so an opportunity now exists for a Trainee Marketing Administrator to join us in our mission to deliver the best plumbing and electrical services in Sydney. Reporting directly to the Business Manager, your role will make you an important part of our Administration team. 

We work in a positive and supportive atmosphere which is great for learning.  The present Marketing Administrator has given us 3 months’ notice so there will be a fantastic handover. 

Even better, this is an 8-4 role where you DO go home on time. 

We are looking for someone who is clever, tech savvy and hungry to learn. 

The job is incredibly varied from creating digital and physical marketing materials, communications, social media and advertising, to ensuring consistency of our Brands' presence in the market and making sure our tradesmen are always busy.

This position would suit a conscientious 2nd jobber who is happy to be trained in all aspects of Marketing.  There is a lot of scope for promotion in this role, so it needs someone who enjoys making a difference.

Responsibilities include:

• Administering the Marketing calendar
• Producing all Marketing data using Excel
• Liaising with suppliers, customers and other stakeholders
• Administering and updating Marketing collateral
• Occasionally updating content on the company's various web portals
• Administering the Marketing budget
• Scheduling Email activity in accordance with the Marketing calendar
• Creating, producing, and distributing high quality digital and physical marketing collateral 
• Creating sales materials such as leaflets, flyers, folders, business cards, etc.
• Assisting in planning and attending staff and customer events i.e. Murder Mystery or Harbour Cruises for business partners

Skills and experience

• Experience or knowledge of Adobe Creative suite if possible
• Ability to produce and load web content preferred
• Experience of database management preferred
• Touch typing accurately at 50wpm or more
• Excellent computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
• An eye for detail – especially written English
• You will want to stay in this role at least 2 years
