Our Company
An opportunity has open for a graduate support role with one of Melbourne’s leading architectural sheetmetal company. We at Fabmetal Specialists tackle projects for Tier 1 & 2 construction companies. Ranging from commercial and educational projects.
Your Role
To qualify for this position, you must have recently completed your qualification in Building Design and as this is an entry level position no more than 1 year of industry experience is required.
Your role will consist of the following;
- Working on projects as directed by the management team.
- Preparing submission of tenders, documents and correspondence.
- Formatting, editing and proof reading project documents.
- Using web-based project platform such as Aconex.
- Obtain, review and mark-up drawings for information and review for Site Team.
- Build and maintaining effective relationships with clients and working constructively with suppliers.
- Coordinating appointments and managing diaries.
- Answering incoming calls and greeting clients in office.
- Various other duties when required.
To be considered for this job, you must have the right experience and skills, be able to live and work in Australia and also have:
- A bachelor degree in architecture or similar.
- Experience working on commercial projects is favourable.
- Working in a team and have good communication skills
- Take initiative and solve problems.
- A sociable personality but be focused on getting the job done.
- Individual desire to learn and grow within the company.
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
- Self-motivated and organized.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong passion to be a part of the construction industry.
This is an exciting opportunity for Graduate Support role, whilst being mentored, supported and directed by highly experienced senior staff who will assist you to further develop your technical detailing skills, across a range of commercial Construction projects.
