We are a family owned and built business with over 30 years’ experience in Insurance, commercial cleaning & restoration.  We pride ourselves on our honest, trustworthy approach and a high level of integrity and high-quality workmanship.  We are conveniently located in Carrum Downs.
 

About the role

We require a dynamic and professional individual capable to handle a diverse range of activities within our small team environment as an experienced Finance and Administration Manager for a 38-hour work week Monday to Friday. Your day will be both busy and varied with duties including but not limited to:

  • General administration and manage day to day operations
  • Accounts payable
  • Accounts receivable
  • Payroll & superannuation
  • Bank reconciliation functions
  • Invoicing and data Entry
  • Liaising with external accountant
  • Debt collecting
  • Filing
  • Stock management (Products and Stationary)
  • Staff management

 

The ideal candidate will have

  • Experience using Xero accounting software
  • Bookkeeping experience
  • Extremely organised and have a systematic approach to their work
  • Government contract experience
  • Insurance industry experience is desirable

 

Skills and experience

  • Good working knowledge of Xero
  • Experience in processing payroll
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Proficient in Word and Excel
  • Excellent organisational skills and time management skills
  • Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with internal staff and external Clients and Partners
  • Have a minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role
