Walk This Way Podiatry is a premier Podiatry practice located in Sydney’s Inner-West. We operate out of modern purpose-built facilities and provide our services to people from our local community and surrounding areas. We are looking for a new Receptionist to join our team on a casual basis with a scope to developing into to a long term permanent role.
The successful applicant will be employed in a role that involves engaging with patients and ensuring a positive patient experience.
As part of your role you will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Meeting and Greeting clients
- Patient billing and receipting
- Confirming and managing patient bookings
- Liaising with patients, referring doctors and practitioners
- Managing stock levels and patient orders.
- Assisting other team members with daily tasks
- Managing sterilisation of instruments
- General cleaning duties
You will also be responsible for demonstrating our values and culture on a daily basis with clients and other team members and working closely with the team to ensure a happy, cohesive work environment.
Applicants should have the following:
- A commitment to providing excellent reception services to patients from all cultures and ages.
- Excellent communication skills and possess a great manner both in person and online.
- Previous medical experience and knowledge of practice management software is preferred.
- Experience managing social media platforms will be highly regarded.
- High level computer and organisational skills
- Be professional and have a well-presented image
The successful applicant will need to be available on most days Monday to Friday anytime from 9am – 4pm.
