Oriental Merchant is an established importer and distributor of authentic Asian groceries, supplying the major supermarkets and numerous independent stores with brands familiar throughout the Asia Pacific region. Our workplace brings together people from many different cultures, all work harmoniously together in one accord to establish our footprint globally. As the company embarks on a growth and expansion plan, we are looking to hire a full-time Admin Assistant in Channel Marketing. This position reports to the Senior Manager, Business Development.This position is based in our office located in Mulgrave, Victoria.

 

Key responsibilities but not to be limited to:

  • Developing and maintaining inventory control for all Point of sales materials and samples using tools (Microsoft Excel and SAP)
  • Consolidating all requests and preparing documents for all internal POSM/Samples transfer
  • Routine physical stock take for all POSM/Samples and reconcile the balance
  • To make effective distribution of the POSM/Samples to respective department
  • Provide monthly reports on all POSM/Samples balances  
  • Weekly/bi-weekly pick up physical stocks/POSM/samples at Laverton (using company vehicle)
  • Co-ordinating with printers and designer for all POSM
  • Act as the point of contact for all departments liaising with warehouse
  • Consolidating all the promoters time sheet/ expenses/ claims forms weekly
  • Data entry for all promoters feedback into system
  • Assisting in demo briefing
  • Maintaining all filling system for the department
  • Book travel arrangement (for CMO and managers)
  • Consolidates all claims for (CMO and managers)

Criteria :-

·         Proficiency in MS office

·         Excellence time management skills and ability to prioritize work

·         Willing to travel long journey as required to travel to Laverton every week or bi weekly

·         Physically fit
