About the role
As the Sales Coordinator - Plumbing Products your role will encompass administration, estimating, and coordination of the sales transaction with a range of internal departments, customers and suppliers. To succeed you will be a skilled at liaising with internal and external stakeholders and capable of using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software accurately.
Skills and experience
- Receive incoming customer calls for requests for information and requests for quotes
- Provide product pricing and provide estimates for variation products using Stoddart's M1 ERP system
- Receive and process purchase orders
- Collect critical job details including site measure, site access, timing, etc
- Coordinate generation of drawings, job travellers, payment arrangements, packing and despatch requirements
- Coordinate any changes to the completion and delivery requirements through the transaction process
In determining suitability for the role, the following criteria are considered essential:
- Ability to demonstrate enhanced verbal and written communication skills incorporating MS Office and familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) software
- Ability to develop product knowledge over time
- Skilled at negotiating difficult conversations
The following criteria are considered desirable:
- Knowledge of key plumbing industry organisations
