Located in Wantirna, your new company provides flood and fire restoration solutions to commercial and domestic buildings, Australia wide. This company has experienced growth year on year, and is now looking for a new addition to their small team of 20. Your new role
Your new role will be client focused, liaising with people who have recently experienced emergencies such as fires, flooding and malicious damage. You will be responsible for the coordination and communication between clients, inspectors, contractors and insurance bodies. You will be preparing and distributing reports that analyse the damage, prompting insurance claims.
Being in an unpredictable industry, this position will require flexibility to work full time hours during peak periods. Minimum work hours for this position are 4 hours per day, 5 days per week (Monday- Friday), and times are flexible. Reporting to the General Manager, duties include but are not limited to;

  • Processing of jobs from start to finish
  • Email correspondence
  • Customer contact
  • Coordinating sub contractors
  • Report writing
  • Following up on relevant job details


What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have;

  • A friendly disposition and phone manner and ability to empathise
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • A working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and Access would be well regarded
  • Mature minded, team mentality
  • Passion for helping others
  • Commitment to flexible work hours
  • Exposure to insurance claims would be well regarded
