Solargain has invested in a highly skilled, dedicated Commercial division which has grown to be one of the market leaders in Commercial solar Australia wide.  With a growing commercial solar business, we are now looking to expand our team responsible for Victoria and New South Wales sales.

Role

Based in West Melbourne, we are looking for a customer-focused team member who can ensure the efficient and effective administration of our Commercial division’s operations.

Reporting to the General Manager for Solargain’s Commercial division, we are looking for someone who is interested in a genuine long-term career with Solargain 

The position is best suited to someone who is energetic and highly professional with the drive and skillset to ensure timely delivery of high quality projects to our customers and partners. 

You will join a strong team of self-confessed solar addicts, consisting of highly experienced and qualified engineers, business developers, project managers and support staff.

Duties

• Assist with retailer and DNSP post-install submissions;
• Assist with building permits and distribution network service provider (DNSP) pre-approval applications;
• Issue project process templates such as commissioning, safe work method statements;
• Coordinate and follow-up with external stakeholders such as customers, installers, DNSP, retailers, inspectors;
• Create FormBay entries, ensure accurate and ready for compliant submissions;
• Collect and issue project handover documentation;
• Register warranties manufacturers;
• Issue purchase orders and process invoices;
• Support and assist the sales team in tender submissions; and
• Collect information internally and externally to fulfil above processes.

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in assisting and coordinating project administration (essential);
• Past administrative positions in a construction or contractor environment;
• Past experience in the embedded generation sector, liaising with retailers, DNSPs
• Intermediate experience using Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel;
• Team orientated;
• Diligent with attention to detail;
• Professional & responsive, with a can-do attitude;
• Results oriented and commercially focussed; and
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.

Requirements

• Drivers Licence;
• Successful applicants will hold a current police clearance or be able to provide one within one month of commencing employment; and
• The position is open to Australian citizens &/or persons that have a legal, valid right to work in Australia.
