Method Consulting is seeking a Receptionist / Office Administration person for a busy Commercial Builder. They are open in terms of the level of experience required for this role. The Primary purpose of the role is to cover all Administration duties for the business including reception, administration for Estimators, Contract Administrators and Directors as well as ensuring the efficient running of the office.

Responsibilities:

  • Answering telephone /scanning/filing – general receptionist duties
  • Meeting and greeting visitors
  • Internal mail distribution
  • Preparation of contract documentation
  • Organising shire and water approval for building licenses
  • Setting up job files and Supervisors files
  • Assist with the updating of the business database
  • Archiving / records retention and retrieval
  • General assistance to estimating and contract administration staff, assistance to other staff as required
  • Work within the company’s Quality Management System
  • Invoice logging, processing invoices & subcontractor progress claims, payment batch processing & supplier statement reconciliations (training on offer)
  • Provide support to the Directors and Financial Controller
  • Any other task relevant to this position.

Key Performance Indicators:

  • The Employee Appraisal & Development (performance management) process is properly carried out
  • Nature of client / stakeholder feedback regarding personal performance
  • Accuracy and timeliness of all administration tasks being carried out

Experience and Attributes:

  • Commercial or Residential construction experience is attractive
  • 2 + Years
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Strong time management
  • Good computer skills
  • Have a can-do attitude
